ABOUT COACH MIKE 

As Founder of ForeCollegeGolf, Mike’s passion for the sport began early in life and only grew over time with an understanding and respect for the game. One great idea and several supportive mentors in the golf industry inspired Mike to launch ForeCollegeGolf in 2014. Mike’s motivation was and continues to be, to help junior golfers develop not only as competitive players but also as young individuals with the support they need to succeed in life.   

After years of competing in junior golf, attending a junior golf academy, and playing at one of the most competitive high schools in the state of Florida, Mike was recruited by several D-1 schools to pursue his collegiate golf career. Eventually, Mike decided to attend James Madison University as it provided the “best fit” for Mike academically, athletically, and socially. While attending JMU, Mike played over 100 rounds for “The Dukes” while maintaining a highly rigorous academic schedule. He was named Team Captain during his Junior year and it was then that Mike began to hone his skills as a mentor and leader for others.

After graduating from James Madison in 2013, Mike's mission was to make a long-lasting impact on the lives of young players throughout the world of golf. Since founding ForeCollegeGolf in 2014, the company has grown substantially with Mike helping more than 150 families in 20 countries globally. Mike’s ultimate goal is to prepare players for success not only in junior golf and college recruiting but also in life after college.

Mike currently lives in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL with his wife, Karen, and son, Lucas (2022). Mike and Karen met at JMU and married in August 2021. When Mike isn’t competing in competitive amateur events, he enjoys traveling with family and friends, enjoying time at the beach or on the water, boating, or jet skiing. Mike enjoys all sports especially, basketball, billiards, pickleball, kickball, and frisbee.
